What materials do we use to produce Attiro?

Everything that goes into Attiro’s creation is carefully hand-picked. We only select prime grade, sustainable, European white oak to create our innovative flooring...

We chose European oak because of the fairly consistent way it behaves when going through hygrothermal testing. Especially when this is combined with the strength of the external grade birch plywood and the grasp of Attiro’s magnetic base to the Kingspan steel-encapsulated raised access floor panels.

It’s not just simply the case of gluing a magnet to an engineered wood floor plank. There’s a serious amount of engineering involved to ensure all the behaviours of the prime grade oak wood are counteracted.

Osmo supply us with 14 different shade options - from deep, rich grains to crisp, clean whites - before we apply their Polyx-Oil. We opted for this well-known and respected brand because of how easy it is to clean and maintain.

Here’s where things get technical...

The Attiro oak staves are engineered as follows:

  1. 4mm European solid oak veneer (FSC)
  2. Micro bevel
  3. Protective edgeband
  4. Magnetic base
  5. Birch Plywood (FSC)

Standard width: 160, 180, & 200mm.
Varying lengths from: 1200mm – 2200mm.
All Attiro is 16.5mm in depth.
